I just spent 3 days in Munich.
I am staying in a nice hostel close to the train station.
Yesterday I took a day trip out to Dachau Concentration camp and did a tour there. Very horrifying...especially the 20 minute film they showed which was taken by the allied soldiers during the liberation.

Today I went to the Dueches Science and Technology Museum and took a self guided walking tour of the old part of the city.
There was a huge anti-war protest in Marienplatz today, there were literally thousands of people and tons of riot police everywhere. I climbed to the top of St Peters church and took some great panoramic shots, you could hear the chanting and speeches for blocks and blocks.

Tomorrow I travel onwards to Salzburg where I will stay for 2 nights.
